Der Hartmut #[5]

From Gringo Comics comes this cheerful 2011 installment of Haggi's Der Hartmut series, subtitled "Kommt, Siet unt Sigt!" — he came, he saw, he conquered! The cover says it all: Hartmut, the little stick-figured hero in his red shirt, stands triumphantly atop a first-place podium, hoisting a gleaming gold trophy proudly labeled "Tölzter Helt fon der Welt" (Greatest Hero in the World). It's a wonderfully silly, warm celebration of Hartmut at his most victorious, and at 4.50 EUR it's an easy pick for fans of Haggi's endearingly lo-fi humor.
