In "Der Eiserne begegnet dem scharlachroten Dynamo!", the Crimson Dynamo arrives in the United States on a mission to sabotage Stark's project and eliminate Iron Man. As the two clash in a battle of wills and steel, the line between enemy and ally begins to blur.

In "Gefangener der Sklavenwelt," scientist Henry Pym is taken captive along with other researchers, forced to aid a tyrant in constructing a deadly weapon across dimensions. When the chance arises, he escapes his prison and uses his shrinking ability to transform into Ant-Man, stepping into a fight that could decide the fate of an entire world.

In "Des Zauberers Fluch," a cowardly general, paralyzed by fear, coerces a gypsy sorcerer into removing his dread—only to be transformed into a lifeless toy soldier, trapped in a body that no longer answers to his will.
