Dennis the Menace Giant #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAmerica's favorite little troublemaker takes a tropical vacation in this cheerful 1958 giant-sized issue, with Dennis peeking mischievously out of an oversized postcard-style scene featuring a Hawaiian beach, palm trees, and a traditional outrigger canoe. The cover border of colorful hibiscus and tropical flowers perfectly frames the "Congratulations, 50th State" message — a timely nod to Hawaii's brand-new statehood — all rendered with warm, lively linework by cover artist Al Wiseman. Whether Dennis is behaving himself amid the island scenery is another question entirely, but this third large printing clearly found plenty of eager readers happy to find out.
