A hockey game takes a very Dennis turn on this 1961 Hallden/Fawcett cover, where the blond troublemaker has swapped his stick for a slingshot and is taking aim at the poor goalie guarding the net, while a bewildered teammate looks on in disbelief. With a hockey stick casually abandoned at his feet, Dennis has clearly decided the rules of the game are purely optional. Fred Toole's "Christmas Tree Trickery" promises the same irrepressible spirit inside — mischief, laughs, and holiday chaos at ten cents a copy.
