Dennis Mitchell turns his family's backyard into an impromptu swimming destination when he decides to create a diving board from an ironing board, enlisting his pal Joey to learn the ropes. What starts as a well-intentioned lesson spirals into a series of mishaps involving an inflatable pool, deflated car tires, and one very soggy father, as Dennis proves once again that his schemes are always bigger—and messier—than anyone bargained for.

Dennis wakes up at 5 AM ready for breakfast, but when he finds his parents still asleep, he decides to fend for himself—with Ruff by his side and a wild plan involving the milkman's delivery. What starts as an innocent early-morning adventure spirals into chaos when Dennis and his dog help themselves to more than just milk, leaving the poor milkman thoroughly exasperated. By the time Dennis finally crashes from his sugar-fueled escapade, he learns the hard way that some menace comes with a price.

Henry Mitchell brings home a whimsical teaching clock to help Dennis learn to tell time, but the lesson quickly falls apart when the clock's hands go missing during a spirited demonstration. As Dennis gets distracted and the family's patience wears thin, Henry discovers that sometimes the best timing has nothing to do with numbers on a dial.
