The fourth issue of Image's Demonic presents a cover that's genuinely unsettling in the best way — a cloaked figure with a grinning red demonic face stands in stark isolation against a white void, while a mass of twisted, shadowy creatures looms overhead in deep purple tones. The contrast between that lone, eerily calm figure below and the writhing horde above creates a mood of quiet menace that's hard to shake. Christopher Sebela, Niko Walter, and Dan Brown are delivering one of 2016's more atmospheric horror series, and this issue's cover makes a compelling case for seeing it through.
