Defiance #8

This Image Comics series closes out its "Scabbard" arc with issue #8, the fourth and final chapter of a storyline that promises Death's Door links a whole world. The cover presents a commanding, armored feminine figure crowned with a horned skull, vast dark wings spread wide and suspended by heavy chains against a brooding, shadow-drenched sky — an image that radiates menace and dark grandeur. If you've been following Lee, Kang, and Sun's run on Defiance, this concluding chapter looks like a fittingly dramatic destination.
