Deathstroke #42

Part two of "The Terminus Agenda" arrives with a cover split neatly between predator and prey: on the left, a battered Deathstroke clings to a chain in the shadows, visored helmet gleaming and armor torn; on the right, Robin charges forward flanked by what appear to be Kid Flash and a red-hooded figure, with a speech bubble demanding, "Where is Deathstroke?!" The tension leaps right off the page — the Teen Titans are closing in, and the World's Deadliest Assassin is nowhere to be found. Writer Priest and cover artists Carlo Pagulayan and Jason Paz frame the pursuit with real urgency, making this 2019 installment a compelling stop in one of DC's sharpest ongoing series.
