The disorienting, tilted composition of Ryan Sook's cover says everything you need to know about where Slade Wilson stands: framed in a blazing doorway, fully armed with sword and sidearm, delivering the blunt declaration "I work alone." Scattered around him in sickly green shadow are several downed figures — including what appears to be a speedster and a masked figure — suggesting the Defiance team has had a very rough night. Christopher Priest and Diógenes Neves bring the "Chinatown" arc to its conclusion in 2018 with this visually striking issue that puts Deathstroke's lone-wolf identity front and center.
