“Serpent's Strike!”

Tyler Kirkham's cover for this February 2016 issue says it all: Deathstroke, sword in hand, is ensnared by the writhing coils of a monstrous snake-humanoid creature — the fearsome Snakebite — while a grinning Harley Quinn looks on from the foreground, seemingly delighted by the chaos unfolding around her. It's a striking lineup of personalities, pairing DC's deadliest mercenary against a genuinely unsettling serpentine villain, with Quinn's manic energy adding an unpredictable wildcard to the mix. Written by Tony S. Daniel and James Bonny with art by Paolo Pantalena and colors by Arif Prianto, this "In the Coils of Snakebite" chapter looks like a thoroughly entertaining collision of action and attitude.
