Deathlok stares down the barrel at the reader in this tense 2015 Marvel series entry, his cybernetic face half-human and half-machine as he levels a firearm directly at you — a striking design choice by cover artist Mike Perkins. Behind him, white silhouettes of armed figures suggest a web of operatives closing in, while a shadowy gunman looms in the upper corner against a bold geometric background of red, black, and white.
