Death of Love #4

The fourth chapter of Image's dark romantic comedy frames its cover with a bold heart-shaped vignette — inside it, a heavyset figure confronts two battered, arrow-pierced warriors bathed in fiery orange, while a dark-haired figure with their back to us stands in the foreground, seemingly at the center of it all. The composition has a sardonic Valentine's card energy that perfectly suits a series called Death of Love, with linework signed by Donal Trucu doing sharp, expressive work throughout. If the first three issues left you hooked on the mayhem, this one promises the tension is far from over.
