Deadpool & the Mercs for Money #2

The cover of this 2016 Marvel series gives the whole thing a delightful retro arcade-fighter framing — Deadpool squares off against a glowing, radioactive Radioactive Man on a city street, complete with health bars, character portraits, and a crowd of onlookers cheering them on. Iban Coello's cover art sells the gag beautifully, capturing that Street Fighter energy while still feeling unmistakably Marvel. Cullen Bunn's irreverent take on Wade Wilson and his mercenary crew is clearly having a lot of fun with the format.
