This 2016 collection reprints the four-issue miniseries that retcons Marvel's original Secret Wars through Deadpool's chaotic perspective. Written by Cullen Bunn with art by Matteo Lolli, it imagines the Merc with a Mouth as a hidden participant in the 1984 event, rewriting history with his trademark fourth-wall-breaking humor and violence.

In "Rumble in East St. Louis!", Deadpool finds himself among a fractured assembly of heroes and villains flung into the cosmos, where the Beyonder unveils the twisted game of Battleworld—where victory over your enemies means your deepest desires are fulfilled. With Galactus and Doom both repelled, the factions splinter: heroes turn on Magneto, while Doom attempts to reason with the villains, only to be shot down by Kang. Written by Jim Shooter and brought to life by Mike Zeck’s dynamic art, with inks by John Beatty, colors by Christie Scheele, and letters by Joe Rosen, this issue pulses with chaos and escalating stakes. The cover by Tony Harris captures the moment the world begins to fracture.
