Deadpool #59
The cover of Deadpool #59 says it all — a massive, rubber-limbed Wade Wilson goes full slapstick as he's snapped backward by what appears to be a magical lasso, with a sharp "SO-INK!" sound effect capturing the absurd impact. Facing him is a dark-suited, mustachioed swordsman wielding a glowing golden energy construct, sword in hand and clearly not intimidated. Part 2 of "Blacklisted" from Daniel Way, Salva Espín, and Dommo Sanchez Aymara promises more of the gleefully chaotic mayhem that cover artist Dave Johnson renders with such kinetic flair.

Deadpool gets pulled over at a Texas truck stop and, seeing as how he has no license or insurance and a trunk full of guns, things don't go all that well with the local law. The police are the least of his problems, however, as Black Tom shows up and tries to kill him.
