Deadpool #28
In "I'm Your Man Part 2," Deadpool’s dream of joining the Secret Avengers hits a bizarre twist when he’s welcomed into a team that’s anything but real—clones of Dr. Bong are using the team’s name to fuel a secret empire. With the real Secret Avengers arriving to expose the deception, Deadpool finds himself on the receiving end of a beating from Steve Rogers, all while the rogue Bong prepares to blow everything sky-high. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Carlo Barberi, with inks by Walden Wong and colors by Marte Gracia, the issue’s cover by Dave Johnson captures the chaos in full.

Deadpool has finally achieved the dream of becoming a bonafide hero. He has joined the Secret Avengers and is hanging out with Steve "I used to be Captain America" Rogers himself. Unfortunately, the Secret Avengers team Deadpool has hooked up with are really clones of Dr. Bong and are running missions to build his dark empire. Things get wacky when the real Secret Avengers show up to ring Bong's bell. As an unsuspecting Deadpool lets the real Rogers beat on him (he thinks they are buds, after all), Bong decides that rather than be captured, he will literally bring the whole operation down.
