Deadly Class #38

Deadly Class continues to deliver some of the most arresting cover imagery in contemporary comics, and issue #38 is no exception. Wes Craig's cover shows a bloodied figure — knife in hand, back turned to us — standing before imposing double doors emblazoned with a snarling beast emblem, as torn pages swirl chaotically through the air around him. It's a quietly intense image that perfectly captures the series' blend of punk-era dread and visceral tension, all rendered in Craig and Jordan Boyd's distinctive pink-and-green palette.
