Two figures face each other on a narrow strip of ground lit by an eerie green glow, a mushroom cloud billowing ominously on the horizon behind them and an electric chair sitting just off to one side — it's a haunting, end-of-the-world confrontation rendered with quiet menace. Beneath their feet, the darkness is filled with scattered bones and skulls, a reminder that this story's body count runs deep. Rick Remender and Wes Craig's Deadly Class continues to deliver that rare combination of dread and visual poetry, and issue #36 is no exception.
