Deadly Class #33

Deadly Class #33 kicks off "Love Like Blood, Part 2" with a cover by Wesley Craig that's as visually daring as the series itself — two young figures leap across an alley in a splash of deep crimson, while below them two more characters fall inverted, one clutching a rifle in a scene that suggests all-out chaos. The entire composition is bathed in that striking red monochrome palette that has made this series so visually distinctive, with the urban architecture twisting around the characters to create a genuinely vertiginous sense of danger. Remender, Craig, and Boyd continue to make each issue feel urgent and alive, and this 2018 installment is no exception.
