Deadly Class #24

Set against the stark white of 1988, issue #24 of Rick Remender and Wes Craig's Deadly Class puts two characters nose-to-nose in a tense, intimate standoff — a long-haired figure in a band tee gripping hands with a broad-shouldered antagonist sporting a hammer-and-sickle tie and a skull-badged varsity jacket. Wes Craig's clean, expressive linework makes the charged tension between them almost palpable, with Jordan Boyd's restrained coloring keeping every emotion front and center. If this cover is any indication, the school of assassination is in a complicated session.
