“Die For Me Part Three”

Wes Craig's cover for Deadly Class #19 hurls three young fighters straight at the viewer — a kid in a "My Name Is Bob" shirt flanked by two wild-eyed teens armed with a bat, a baton, and what looks like a flaming torch, all of them leaping out of billowing dark smoke against a vivid blue backdrop. The hot-pink color scheme gives the whole image a feverish, punk-tinged energy that perfectly suits Rick Remender's 1988-set world of teenage assassins. "Die For Me Part Three" promises the arc is hitting its stride, and this issue looks like the moment things get gloriously chaotic.
