The four-issue miniseries wraps up with a cover by Greg Horn that radiates tension — a menacing dark-clad figure looms over a red-haired woman in a silver jacket, scattered copies of the Daily Bugle bearing the headline "Mask Killer Still at Large" swirling around them against a stormy, iron-gated backdrop. It's a fittingly cinematic close to this 2002 Marvel thriller, with Horn's painted realism giving the scene a genuinely unsettling noir atmosphere. Writer Bill Rosemann and artist Guy Davis bring their reporter-in-peril story to its conclusion, and if the cover is any indication, the chase for a killer story has never felt more dangerous.
