Dead Seas #4

Nick Brokenshire's cover for Dead Seas #4 is a genuinely striking piece of work — a lone silhouetted figure stands in a wide, confident stance against a swirling, psychedelic backdrop teeming with grotesque sea creatures, monstrous faces, and spiraling aquatic horrors rendered in rich purples and blues. Glittering points of light radiate outward from the figure, giving the confrontation an almost supernatural charge. This IDW original series clearly has no shortage of atmosphere, and issue four looks like the tension is building to something wonderfully strange.
