Dead-Eye Western v2 #6

A cavalry officer receives a commission and money from the Colonel to lead his men back to fort for rest, but discovers the Colonel has been shot and killed by enemy raiders. A loyal horse named Battle Cry, ridden by the fallen Colonel, evades capture and is pursued by Rain Death, a Sioux warrior seeking the mount for a future attack on the cavalry. Later, settlers are warned of an impending Indian attack and must remain vigilant through the night to defend their homestead.
