Asia has been stabbed through the stomach but, since she has already been resurrected once, Stone and Dani are taken aback when she actually starts dying. They take her to her mother's graveside where Asia is visited by the angel who has been possessing her (thus causing the previous resurrection). The angel explains that war is being waged in heaven and she has to rejoin the fight so she must leave Asia's body and she will die. Asia accepts and is comforted by the fact that she will soon be reunited with her mother. As Asia dies, the earth cracks and her mother crawls from her grave.
