Season 2 of De zang van de vampiers kicks off with "Revelaties," and Guérineau's cover sets a genuinely unsettling tone: a massive, glowing green skull with blood-red eyes looms over the scene, while a determined young woman in red grips a pair of blades and two pale, long-coated figures lurk in the eerie background. Corbeyran, Guérineau, and colorist Favrelle have built one of the more atmospheric vampire series in Belgian comics, and this 2009 volume promises the kind of dark revelations the subtitle suggests.
