After being injured by the Hulk, Betty takes off with her ex-husband. X-Factor helps SHIELD bring the Hulk back to Gamma Base but, once they realize that he is going to be killed, step in to protect him. Clay also balks at the kill order and escapes with Bruce, Rick and X-Factor, blowing up Gamma Base as they leave.
