The third volume of Geinz's De Rosse Ridder pits the plucky little red-clad knight against a truly imposing opponent — a towering armored giant adorned with skulls and swinging a massive axe, while scattered skulls and a distant fire set the mood across a barren battlefield. Our small hero, clutching what appears to be a tiny key or dagger, looks decidedly underpowered but not undeterred. Subtitled "Heavy Metal," this 2020 Bonte release delivers Geinz's charmingly quirky visual style with a dash of dark humor that makes the David-versus-Goliath setup all the more entertaining.
