The second issue of De nieuwe avonturen van Roodbaard, titled "Sea dogs," features the adventures of Redbeard and his crew in a story written by Jean-Charles Kraehn and Boom!, with artwork by Stefano Carloni, who also handled inking, coloring, and lettering. The cover, also by Stefano Carloni, presents a striking visual of the characters in their seafaring setting.
