De Kiekeboes #78

Album 78 of Merho's long-running Belgian comedy series whisks the Kiekeboe family off to Cuba with the sun-drenched "Havana Gilla." The cover sets the mood perfectly: a lively stage performance where a woman in a vibrant red flamenco dress dances surrounded by a full band in matching pink tropical shirts — percussion, guitar, double bass and all — while two uniformed officials look on from the foreground. It's a colourful, rhythmic snapshot that promises plenty of Latin flair and comic chaos ahead, published by Standaard Uitgeverij in 2011.
