De Kiekeboes #106

Issue #106 of the beloved Belgian family comic series De Kiekeboes arrives with a delightfully atmospheric cover — a large, somewhat mysterious villa overgrown with ivy, while a mustachioed man and three children gaze up at it with evident curiosity, a shadowy silhouette visible in one of the lit windows. Creator Merho sets a wonderfully intriguing mood with this 2010 entry, titled Vrolijke Vrolijke Vrienden ("Happy Happy Friends"), where the cheery title and the slightly eerie setting make for an irresistible combination.
