The Super family is already in delightful chaos on the cover of this 2022 opener from Bonte, where a grinning green creature pedals a bicycle while a startled cow looms overhead, and the family members scatter in wide-eyed panic across a sunny suburban yard. Writer-artist Willy Linthout and co-writer Ann Smet launch De Familie Super with a premise that promises cheerful mayhem at every turn, and the cover — pencilled by Linthout and inked by Steven de Rie — sets that anarchic, warm-hearted tone perfectly. If "Pépé Smos gaat te ver" is any indication, this is a series that finds big laughs in everyday life going wonderfully, hilariously wrong.
