Volume 85 of the long-running Belgian humor series finds Urbanus in gloriously chaotic form: the cover shows our wide-eyed, grinning hero tumbling through the air in his trademark red shorts while a gun fires "PANG!! PANG!" right beside his head, his hat flying off and sparks scattering beneath him. Looming alongside him is the elegant red-clad figure of a mystery woman — all long legs, red heels, and a swinging yellow handbag — who gives the title Kogels en Jarretels ("Bullets and Garters") its delightfully absurd promise of action mixed with glamour. Willy Linthout's energetic linework, inked by Steven de Rie and colored by Hannelore Vantieghem, makes this 2000 entry in the series a lively addition to any Urbanus collection.
