Issue 196 of the long-running Belgian humor series brings another absurd scenario straight from the world of Urbanus — this time subtitled De Ontschepper. The cover, by the Linthout and Urbanus creative team, shows a stylish dark-haired woman casually resting her hand on a grinning skeleton, while a bewildered small figure crouches nearby cradling what appears to be a disheveled creature in a basket. It's exactly the kind of cheerfully bizarre imagery that has kept this Flemish comic series a beloved staple of Dutch-language humor through 2021 and beyond.
