☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection brings together the three-issue miniseries DCeased: Unkillables, a spin-off from the main DCeased storyline. Set in the same zombie-apocalypse universe, it follows a group of villains and anti-heroes, including Red Hood and Deathstroke, as they fight to survive the anti-life virus outbreak. Written by Tom Taylor with art by Karl Mostert, the story explores the darker corners of the DC Universe during the crisis.
In DCeased: Unkillables, Deathstroke’s healing factor becomes his greatest weapon when the Anti-Life virus turns him into a zombie—only to be reversed by his own biology. As Jason flees the Batcave, haunted by the fallen bodies of Batman, Nightwing, and Tim Drake, he teams up with Commissioner Gordon and Cassandra Cain in a desperate escape from Gotham. Meanwhile, Slade tracks down his daughter Rose, joining forces with Mirror Master and a rogue coalition led by Vandal Savage to fight back against the undead hordes. Written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Karl Mostert, with inks by Trevor Scott, Neil Edwards, and John Livesay, and colors by Rex Lokus, the issue’s cover by Howard Porter captures the grim urgency of a world gone dark.
In *DCeased: Unkillables*, Deathstroke fights to stay human as the Anti-Life virus turns him into a zombie—only his healing factor gives him a fragile edge. Jason, desperate and grieving, finds the Batcave overrun and must lead a small band of survivors, including Gordon and Cassandra Cain, on a perilous journey from Gotham to Bludhaven. When a mysterious invitation from Mirror Master pulls him into a dangerous alliance with Vandal Savage and a rogue crew of villains, the line between enemy and ally blurs in the fight to survive.
In the ruined streets of Bludhaven, Gordon, Jason, and Cassandra fight to keep their orphan charges safe as the dead rise around them. When Savage turns on Deathstroke and the Creeper, their betrayal is cut short by a shocking attack from a zombie Wonder Woman—forcing the surviving villains to flee to Bludhaven and join forces with the heroes. With defenses crumbling and the horde closing in, the fragile alliance must hold long enough to survive the night.
In "Friends & Family," Gordon leads a desperate last stand as the undead overrun their sanctuary, rallying a ragtag group of anti-heroes and former villains to shield a handful of orphaned children. With each sacrifice pushing them closer to the edge, the line between hero and villain blurs in the fight to keep the youngest alive.
