DC Special: Raven #1

Marv Wolfman returns to one of his most beloved creations as Raven finally steps into her own spotlight with this 2008 DC Special miniseries. The cover by Damion Scott and Robert Campanella places Raven's mystical blue-armored form front and center, looming large between two teen figures — a dark-haired girl and a brooding young man — while a sinister masked presence lurks in shadow behind them all. The tagline "Finally in Her Own Emo Series!" says it with a wink, but there's genuine excitement in seeing this complex, darkly compelling character anchor a story all her own.
