Chapter eleven of twelve — the penultimate installment of Aleš Kot and Danijel Žeželj's politically charged Image series arrives with a cover that's all stark dread: a lone wooden chair, bound with rope against a burning red field, debris scattered at its base. The restrained, inky minimalism by Žeželj speaks volumes about tension and control, making this one of the more quietly unsettling covers of 2018. With only one chapter left after this, the series is clearly bearing down on its conclusion.
