Day of Vengeance #[nn]
In "Lightning Strikes Twice," Bruce Gordon follows a disturbing pattern of suicides fueled by rage, while Captain Marvel senses an impending doom foretold by Shazam. When Superman investigates the latest incident, he's drawn into a crisis that ignites a volatile chain reaction—one that culminates in a STAR Labs employee, consumed by fury and wielding a stolen LexCorp battle suit, confronting the Man of Steel with a shocking revelation: she’s been possessed by Eclipso. Written by Judd Winick and illustrated by Ian Churchill, with inks by Norm Rapmund, colors by Beth Sotelo, and letters by Richard Starkings, this 2006 issue features a cover by Walter Simonson that captures the storm of chaos on the horizon.
