Rei Toma's Dawn of the Arcana reaches its seventh volume with a quietly striking cover: a red-haired, teal-eyed young woman perches alone atop a stone battlement, a dark-feathered creature resting beside her as castle spires rise in the misty distance below. The clock-face numerals encircling the title give the whole scene a dreamlike, time-haunted quality that suits this fantasy series beautifully. A fine addition to any Shojo Beat collection.
