This first volume of 'Das verlorene Paradies' adapts the opening of John Milton's epic poem 'Paradise Lost,' focusing on the fall of the rebel angels and their descent into Hell. The story follows Satan and his followers as they regroup in their new infernal domain, plotting revenge against God. This German-language edition collects the initial chapters of the series, illustrated by various artists under the direction of writer and creator Philippe Thirault.
A dark, atmospheric tale set in a hauntingly rendered world, "Hölle" from Das verlorene Paradies #1 features the characters Ange, Tanja Krämling, and others in a story illustrated by Alberto Varanda, with inks and colors by Varanda and Lyse, and lettering by Delia Wüllner-Schulz.
