Das Testament des Captain Crown #1
This first volume of the German series 'Das Testament des Captain Crown' collects the opening chapters of a gritty, noir-tinged pirate saga. Set in a lawless 18th-century Caribbean, the story follows a motley crew of outcasts as they pursue the mysterious legacy of the legendary Captain Crown. The title, 'Fünf Hurenkinder' (Five Whores' Children), hints at the brutal, morally complex world the characters inhabit.
A mysterious tale titled "Fünf Hurenkinder" unfolds in the first issue of Das Testament des Captain Crown, published by Egmont Ehapa in 2011. The story features Captain Crown and his companions, brought to life through the artwork of Patrick Hénaff, with coloring by Jean-Noël Le Moal. The cover, also by Hénaff, complements the dark, atmospheric tone of the series.
