Darling Love #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFew romance comics open with an image quite this striking: a bride in full wedding regalia — veil, tiara, pearl necklace — reads a note bearing the gut-punch message "Sorry, Cannot Marry You. Forgive Me. Bob." The cover perfectly sets the emotional stage for a 52-page anthology promising titles like "I Was Jilted," "Two Loves Have I," and "I Lied for Love" — all the heartache and longing that made 1949 romance comics irresistible. Archie's Darling Love announces itself right out of the gate as a title unafraid to look romance's messier moments squarely in the eye.
