Darkness Visible reaches its sixth issue with one of the series' most unsettling cover images: an X-ray illuminated in eerie green reveals a human skeleton — and lurking behind it, a monstrous demonic skull seemingly fused within the same frame, teeth bared in the darkness. A stethoscope hangs nearby, grounding the supernatural dread in a clinical, medical setting that makes the image all the more chilling.
