Scott Snyder's Dark Spaces imprint delivers a genuinely unsettling penultimate issue with this cutaway view of a multi-story house, its rooms populated by several figures going about their lives in blissful unawareness — while a massive, grinning creature with gnarled tree-like arms reaches around and into the structure from the darkness outside. Claire Roe's cross-section composition is both architecturally meticulous and deeply creepy, with Jordie Bellaire's moody palette making the warm interior lamplight feel all the more fragile against the encroaching dark.
