Dark Realm #2

The cover of this 2000 Image title says it all — a massive, grotesque beast dominates the frame, its dripping fangs and writhing tendrils coiling around a struggling young woman, while a determined figure in a red jacket charges in from the side. Taeson Chang's detailed linework gives the creature an unsettling, almost organic weight, with Quantum Color FX's deep reds and murky grays amplifying the dread. Dark Realm #2 makes a strong case that this series has serious teeth.
