Dark Mysteries #21 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Sinister Secret" depicts a man who finds himself in Hell amid demons and the supernatural after seemingly committing crimes, begging to escape the awful place. "The Marked Man" tells of Fleete and Strickland, servants of Hanuman the monkey god, who steal a fleete that is hunted by the gods and devils of Asia, leading to a harrowing pursuit. A third story involves a medieval knight named Conrad on a hunt for a stag, during which he is knocked unconscious by a hidden root and the stag escapes. The final visible story concerns three women performing a séance on Halloween to contact spirits and summon the dead, during which supernatural phenomena occur.

Sinister Secret
7 pp · Horror-Suspense

On a foggy night, a stranger recounts a tale of two rival magicians—the Great Gobbo and Mord—whose friendship crumbles under the weight of jealousy and professional rivalry. When misfortune strikes Gobbo and he offers his prized ventriloquist act to Mord as a gesture of goodwill, Mord seizes the opportunity—but finds the dummy and his accumulated savings begin to vanish under mysterious circumstances, driving him to suspect his old rival of orchestrating an impossible revenge.

The Marked Man
6 pp · Horror-Suspense

A drunken man named Fleete desecrates a sacred monkey idol during a late-night bazaar encounter in Rangoon, drawing the unwanted attention of a mysterious leper servant of Hanuman. After a disturbing embrace leaves him marked with a strange bite, Fleete begins exhibiting unsettling changes—an insatiable hunger for raw meat, an aversion to light, and a growing animal ferocity that horrifies his concerned friends Strickland and the narrator. As night falls, the full extent of the curse becomes terrifyingly apparent, and the three men find themselves trapped in a nightmare of their own making.

The Hounds of Darkness
6 pp · Horror-Suspense

Conrad, Lord of Falkenburg, accepts a mysterious stranger's offer to guide him back to his castle after a hunting accident leaves him lost in the forest—but the price of that midnight hunt is far steeper than he could imagine. As Conrad joins the Black Huntsman and his supernatural pack on a terrifying chase through an otherworldly night, he discovers that time itself has become his enemy. When dawn finally breaks and he returns home, Conrad faces a revelation that transforms his triumphant return into something far more tragic.

Bewitched
6 pp · Horror-Suspense

At a Halloween party, a woman named Brenda claims to be a real witch—and when a guest named Janet asks her to contact the spirit of a wealthy dead man to find his hidden fortune, Brenda performs a séance that turns far more sinister than anyone bargained for. What begins as a jest becomes a deadly game of supernatural revenge, with two lives hanging in the balance and Brenda's four mysterious cats playing a chilling role in the unfolding horror.
