"Sinister Secret" depicts a man who finds himself in Hell amid demons and the supernatural after seemingly committing crimes, begging to escape the awful place. "The Marked Man" tells of Fleete and Strickland, servants of Hanuman the monkey god, who steal a fleete that is hunted by the gods and devils of Asia, leading to a harrowing pursuit. A third story involves a medieval knight named Conrad on a hunt for a stag, during which he is knocked unconscious by a hidden root and the stag escapes. The final visible story concerns three women performing a séance on Halloween to contact spirits and summon the dead, during which supernatural phenomena occur.
In the fog-laden streets of a forgotten city, a disgraced magician named Mord is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his money and his prized ventriloquist dummy, leading him to believe the dead rival he once betrayed is somehow exacting revenge. As paranoia sets in and the line between memory and madness blurs, Mord races to uncover the truth behind the supernatural thefts—only to face a chilling reckoning tied to a secret he thought buried with the past.
In the shadowed bazaars near the Temple of Hanuman, a drunken man’s reckless act of defiling a sacred idol awakens a vengeful curse, marking him with a strange, dark wound that begins to transform him. As the man’s behavior grows increasingly animalistic—devouring raw meat, terrifying horses, and emitting beastly howls—his friends confront a horrifying truth: the silver leper who embraced him was no mere priest, but a harbinger of something far older and more terrible.
Conrad, Lord of Falkenburg, sets out on a night hunt with a mysterious Black Huntsman and his pack of hounds, only to find himself trapped in a terrifying, timeless chase that blurs the line between dream and nightmare. After a harrowing ride through the forest, he awakens at the gates of his castle—home, yet utterly changed—only to learn that his beloved wife, Elaine, has waited for him for a century.
Brenda, a woman claiming occult powers, convinces her friend Janet and the recently widowed Mrs. Trace to summon the spirit of Mrs. Trace’s late husband on Halloween. As the ritual unfolds in a dimly lit room, the atmosphere grows unnerving when the curtains begin to move on their own, and Mrs. Trace is strangled by an unseen force. When the police arrive, they find Janet dead, and Brenda’s sinister secret begins to unravel.
