The medieval DC universe comes alive in issue three of this twelve-part limited series, with Yasmine Putri and colorist Arif Prianto delivering a stunning cover that pulls several figures into a tense, layered composition. At the center stands Wonder Woman in her golden tiara and crimson armor, flanked by a gold-crowned Black man crackling with blue lightning energy on the left, a young blonde warrior clutching a bloodied sword below, and a fair-haired figure surrounded by arcane blue light on the right — while a dark-haired woman watches thoughtfully from behind, and a vast stone visage looms overhead amid doves and ancient ruins. Tom Taylor's "The Gathering Storm" promises exactly that: a world of swords, sorcery, and superhuman power where the storm clouds are very much gathering.
