Dark Horse Presents #104

A wonderfully weird 1995 entry in Dark Horse Presents, this issue spotlights "Pink Tornado" with cover art penciled and inked by Scott Musgrove. The cover is a dense, gleefully unsettling swirl of grotesque creatures — fanged beasts, bulbous aliens, and all manner of strange critters — crowding in around a wide-eyed, bewildered everyman in a suit and tie, while a pink, fist-clenching figure dominates the foreground. It's the kind of imaginative, anything-goes anthology cover that made Dark Horse Presents such a vital showcase for offbeat talent in the mid-'90s.
