Dark Ages #2

The looming, red-eyed visage of Apocalypse dominates the background of Iban Coello's striking cover, casting a menacing shadow over the diverse assembly of heroes charging below him — including X-23 with claws bared, a massive armored robot, a Spider-Man variant, Magik wielding a glowing sphere, Ghost-Spider, and a figure in an orange-and-black Spider-suit. Tom Taylor's Dark Ages continues to pit this unlikely coalition of Marvel characters against what appears to be an overwhelming threat, and with Coello's kinetic artwork colored by Brian Reber, issue #2 makes a strong visual case for just how high the stakes have become.
