Issue #5 is the series finale of Erica Schultz's five-part mature-readers miniseries and delivers the narrative payoff for Morgan Whittier's arc as the second Muse — a character whose first appearance in issue #1 represents a meaningful expansion of the Daredevil villain roster, introducing a female successor to one of Charles Soule's most distinctive creations. The issue also resolves the debut storyline of Helektra, a demonic doppelganger of Elektra conjured by Muse, which is a first appearance in its own right. Writer Erica Schultz — who had already built a sustained working relationship with Elektra Natchios across multiple prior miniseries — returned to the character for this five-issue Red Band miniseries launched in January 2025, continuing directly from the Elektra-as-Daredevil status quo established in Chip Zdarsky's main Daredevil run. The series was published under Marvel's Red Band imprint, a polybagged, explicitly-rated line designed to allow more graphic storytelling than the standard Marvel Universe line. Issue #5 saw a partial penciler shift, with Sergio Dávila joining Valentina Pinti on interior art duties, while Paulo Siqueira and Rachelle Rosenberg handled the main cover throughout the run; the issue was edited by Lauren Amaro under supervising editor Devin Lewis. The full five-issue run was subsequently collected in a trade paperback.

Morgan Whittier (the second Muse) — created by Schultz and Pinti — made her first appearance in issue #1 of this series (January 2025); issue #5 resolves her arc as she is freed from the original Muse's control and returned to Earth, ultimately taken into police custody.
Helektra, a demonic Daredevil doppelganger created by Muse to corrupt Elektra, appears in this issue; per the Marvel Database, this is listed as a distinct Earth-616 character introduced in the series.
The original Muse (first appeared in *Daredevil* vol. 5 #11, September 2016, created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney) appears in this issue as a ghost/spirit antagonist, his first sustained post-death role in comics continuity.
